    I’m Fabrizio La Rosa.

I build educational experiences inside video games. AI-Guide is how I’m bringing that craft to AI.

I work at Shapescape as Education Development Lead. I build learning experiences in Minecraft Education for schools. Translating learning goals into gameplay, building worlds where learning is the natural consequence of playing.

In parallel I lead Maker Camp Workroom, where we design educational and commercial Minecraft experiences. It’s an Italian team that publishes on international marketplaces.

I started programming Minecraft servers at 15. I wanted to build experiences people actually wanted to live in, and the only way to do that was to learn how to build them.

From there it was years of plugins, maps for international marketplaces, servers with thousands of players, systems that had to run 24/7. I learned that educational technology only works when it works as technology first.

For two years I taught robotics, VR, coding, and Minecraft Education to students from primary school through high school, all over Italy. Explaining to an eight-year-old how to program a robot taught me one thing: technology isn’t magic, it’s a tool you can learn to use. The same goes for AI.

In Italian there are very few places where someone with zero AI background can start without feeling stupid. Most of what’s out there is written by insiders for insiders, or badly translated from English, or stuffed with words like “revolutionary” and “paradigm shift”.

AI-Guide is the manual I wish I’d found when I started. It explains how AI works, what you can usefully do with it, what you cannot do with it, and how not to be impressed by people trying to sell you smoke. It’s free, no ads. Your progress stays on your browser.
